Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside an average sized Primary school to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced SEN teaching assistant / behaviour mentor to work with a Year 6 pupil with autism.

The 'good' graded Primary School prides itself in supporting children from all backgrounds and of all levels of ability. There is a reward system which promotes good behaviour and the school needs great supply staff in order to maintain the behaviour of the students.

The school is looking for a Special Needs teaching assistant who is going to bring optimism and a positive attitude to the school.

  • The right applicant will have experience working with SEN students and a good knowledge of autism. They must be patient, empathetic and resilient;
  • as well as having a true passion for working with children who need additional support.

    Overview :

  • SEN Teaching Assistant role to start immediately on a full time basis
  • Up to £350 per week
  • Long term contract
  • School based in Eastbourne
