Robust and reliable. Not the car with 3 wheels from the 70s. Your testing practices. You can develop a bespoke test where required to satisfy any number of testing needs, whether you’re given a requirement or if you identified the need yourself.

In this role you can produce test plans and cases at the project / sprint / story level and apply risk assessment techniques when necessary.

This role also encompasses the identification of any requirements which might be incomplete or inconsistent and the related monitoring of the work of other testers.

This may include creating task lists, estimating effort, assessing quality and providing feedback.

As a senior there will also be the opportunity to manage a wider team of analysts. Sharing and teaching advanced skills and mentoring your junior team members.

Ideally you will have proven experience of motivating, upskilling and managing a team to increase precision and efficiency.

Knowledge, skills and experience required :

  • Experience of the testing process. This includes devising test cases, executing tests, recording evidence, and raising defects, verifying fixes, reporting on testing progress and quality
  • Experience of running and investigating problems with automated functional tests using standard development tools and techniques
  • Experience of estimating testing at task and test level, but also at the higher level using incomplete information as input to project and sprint planning
  • Experience of testing as part of a project team, establishing effective working relationships with Developers and Business Analysts
  • Experience of writing or supporting creation of Test Strategy and Project Test Plans
