We are building a market leading, technology led Legal Managed Services team, assisting in-house legal teams of FTSE 100 clients.

The team provide innovative solutions to client problems, working across jurisdictions and specialisms.

Your role

This is an opportunity for a paralegal with the right mix of attitude, vision, experience, skills and drive to help build the Legal Managed Services capability within an exciting and dynamic environment at Deloitte.

This is an exciting time to join the team as it starts to grow and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to get involved with business development and go to market approach.

This role will suit a law graduate (or equivalent experience) lawyer who wishes to build upon their existing legal knowledge and experience, who has a drive and determination to be trained in Legal Managed Services, and whose immediate focus is not only a generalist commercial practice but also engagement in building new propositions and seeking opportunities across the rest of Deloitte serving a broad cross-section of clients on domestic and cross-border projects across the full range of size, complexity and value.

Responsibilities include :

  • Providing legal support to the Legal Managed Services team;
  • Undertaking low complexity legal matters under the supervision of more senior lawyers;
  • Providing high quality, pragmatic, clear and commercially focused legal advice;
  • Undertaking legal research;
  • Being focused on delivering and enhancing an efficient, high quality legal managed service;
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient performance of work in compliance with service levels and KPIs;
  • Assisting with the development of precedents, negotiation mandates, know-how, guidelines and training materials and promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Utilising legal software as a case management system and to drive efficiencies into the contract management process; and
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

    Your professional experience

    The successful candidate will have the following attributes :


  • Law degree obtained in England & Wales (or equivalent alternative experience) with experience of working in a legal team environment either in-house or private practice;
  • An understanding of the challenges and requirements of an in-house legal team / GC;
  • The ability to undertake legal research;
  • The provision of legal support to the LMS team;
  • The ability to undertake low complexity legal matters under the supervision of more senior lawyers;
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences;
  • Experience in utilising legal software as a case management system and to drive efficiencies into the legal process; and
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently & to a high quality within SLAs and KPIs.
