This rile will support the Retail Managers on a part time basis (circa 20 hours per week) to maximise the retail performance of stores providing support in analytical work and meeting preparation, as well as general brand management administration and activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain close links with brand partners to ensure the sharing of information in order to improve sales and service to customers.
  • Provide the Retail Managers with all the relevant retail data and performance information to ensure that information remains up to date and accurate and relevant parties are well informed.
  • Monitor performance, prepare different retail analysis, e.g. store performance or competitor analysis and interpret retail data to support the team by considering options in order to deliver the total sales budget.
  • Organize Sales Performance Reviews, shop manager meetings, mystery shopping and Retail Academy Programme in order to help brands to meet their full potential and achieve improvements in sales.
  • Provide all relevant reporting with regards to the McArthurGlen standards (weekly reports and other requested reports), as well as preparing presentations to senior management
  • Coordinate daily business and prepare all parties with relevant information in line with the retail / marketing calendar to ensure a smooth running of the operation.
  • Undertake projects or ad-hoc tasks as required to support the running development of the centre.
  • Work closely with all other departments (store and customer service operation, facilities, marketing, leasing, finance) and brands to identify and drive best practice procedure and process.
  • You will occasionally be required on a rota’d basis to undertake duty management of the centre.
  • You are responsible for fully complying with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • At all times you should act in the company’s best interests and in the best interests of those entities which we represent.
  • Your Profile

  • You have retail experience; ideally gained within a buying or merchandising role where analytical skills are key.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are able to build relationships across the team and with brand partners.
  • You have IT skills including : intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; able to create and amend presentations.
  • You have excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
