Maintenance Engineer Electrical
Newport, South Wales
£33,000 + regular Overtime.
Company Bonus + 25+8 days holiday + pension Contributions
3 shift system 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. Monday to Friday
Electrical Maintenance Engineer sought for growing producer within the high volume (FMCG) manufacturing industry
The company are in the midst of a period of growth and can offer ongoing training and development and longer-term career progression opportunities for those who desire it.
The role will be suited to engineers from any industrial, production or manufacturing machinery maintenance background, those with any exposure to high volume / FMCG or food production environments are encouraged to apply although all transferable experience will be taken into consideration.
The role will be made up of a mix of reactive breakdown support, planned preventative maintenance and occasional engineering improvement projects as required on a broad range of food production machinery.
Due to the nature of the role, it’s high pace and just in time dependency the role is biased towards reactive breakdown support, although integral to the expansion of the engineering team is a focus on improved PPM schedule execution across all shifts.
The company are part of a wider group of successful food producers and have around 300 staff at their South Wales facility.
