Guest Service Supervisor - Ibis Styles Heathrow East

This is a multi-skilled position managing both the Front Office and Food and Beverage departments in accordance with the business demands.

You will ensure that with you exemplary attitude, offering a warm and friendly welcome you will contribute towards maintaining a positive atmosphere at work for both the staff and the guests and making sure the image of the hotel is excellent.

  • About us :

    Ibis Styles Heathrow East is looking for a Guest Service Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow professionally.

    Situated just 3.8 miles from Heathrow Terminal 5 the hotel has 125 bedrooms, meeting room, dinning and car parking, creating a new experience for business and travellers alike.

    Your role in our family :

    Key responsibilities to your role :

  • Be able to fully manage Reception and F&B department.
  • Ensure that the team can deliver high level of service as per Ibis Styles Guest Service Standards.
  • Be able to carry out the Duty Manager in line with Splendid Family guidelines.
  • Training and Developing Team Members as per Ibis Styles services standards.
  • Daily Banking and reconciliation in line with company policy.
  • Ensure Food Safety standards are upheld by the team including the sale and storage of food.
  • Ensure agreed SOP's are followed at all times by the team.
  • Support Management in running the departments.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Ensures that all rotas are done in conjunction with the prepared budget.
  • Play key role to achieve targets.
  • Ensure shift and departmental tasks are carried out in line with all audit requirements and as agreed with Operation Manager.
  • Person Specification

  • You must be friendly, motivated, and passionate about delivering excellent service.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to develop further with the company.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Energetic, passionate and ambitious with an extensive knowledge of Reception operations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Excellent personal organisational and drive to get things right first time.
  • Having flexibility to work diverse shifts, including weekends, early mornings, evenings and overnight shift as and when required.
