For most people to have ideal job satisfaction it would involve some if not all of the following :
1)A deserved salary / package
2)Good work life balance
3)Encourages further learning and development of your key skills
4)Is rewarding contributing to society or a worthwhile cause
5)Supports you as an individual (and your family) not just as an employee number.
If you’re working as an Project or Electrical / Vision Systems Engineer at the moment how many of them could you say you have?
Having recruited specialist Project and Electrical & Vision Systems Engineers regularly over the past 6 years I would argue that most have a fair salary (but not all), Some have a good work life balance, but most couldn’t agree with the last 3.
When was the last time you had further training or got to stretch and test your skill set? Do you find the projects you work on rewarding or fill you with pride?
Finally, when was the last time you felt your company actually cared about what you did outside of work or making your families life a little easier?
Well my client, a specialist Medical Device company tick all 5 of these.
They pay well, don’t expect unrealistic hours, will challenge you and further develop your skill and provide a benefit package that looks after the wellbeing and health of not just you but your family as well.
All that is on top of the fact that you’d be contributing to the creation and production of a medical device making life less painful and intrusive for those who suffer from a disease that affects over 3.
5 million people in the UK alone.
They’re looking for a Project Engineer with experience in Electrical Vision systems who would work on projects across the business within the Projects & R&D Department.
You’ll work from conceptual level to create architectures, designs and provide continued technical leadership to programs / projects.
Ideally, you’ll have undertaken a project engineer role previously and have a strong electrical / controls bias with strong experience with vision systems such as Cognex.
Any previous experience within the Pharmaceutical or medical device industry would be highly advantageous.
