Brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services.

This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 2,500 rooms.

Who we are looking for?

As a Trace Heating Project Engineer, we are looking for someone that has experience in electrical project delivery and has the ability to solve issues relating to electrical systems.

We require someone that understands the installation process and has the ability to advise suppliers on how designs should account for this.

Candidates that have worked in a nuclear environment are ideal however this is not a prerequisite.

What will you be doing?

  • Working as part of the electrical team
  • Ensuring construction elements are incorporated into the design
  • Interface with design and construction teams
  • Involved with the mechanical design of cable tray supports
  • The experience you’ll bring

  • Experience of in delivering electrical project
  • Experience of mechanical engineering and how it relates to electrical installations.
  • Be able to liaise with suppliers and advise on designs.
  • Problem solving ability
  • Will need to have or be able to obtain necessary security clearance
