This exciting role in the Communications team will allow you to workclosely with a diverse group of stakeholders from customers and employees tomedia, honing your already growing communications skills.
Your mainresponsibilities as a Communications Advisor will involve :
Proactivelyplanning and implementing a variety of external and internal communicationactivities to support the delivery of the Maritime Services business strategy andthe BAE System’s wider Maritime sector as appropriate
Supportingthe planning and delivery of public relations activities for promotion of ourbusiness activities
Innovativemanagement of digital channels including our website and social media, andproviding expertise on digital channels including Social Media, seizingopportunities to promote the business
Providingsupport in managing crisis communications
Supportingthe Senior Communications Manager to develop and deliver the external andinternal communications agenda for Maritime Services.
Supportingreputation management activities internally and externally
Yourskills and qualifications as a Communications Advisor :
External communications experience
Digitaland Social Media communications knowledge and experience
Communicationcampaign planning experience
Understandingof effective digital communications practices and channels
Experience of liaising with journalists and working in a PR / Media role
Researchand evaluation experience
Customer / client support experience within internal communications
Internal communications experience
