The Reward practice at KPMG is a dedicated national team that advises on the design, tax, market practice, corporate governance, regulatory and accounting aspects of employee incentive plans for both UK and global clients.
In addition to supporting on delivery of client projects the successful applicant will want to be involved in supporting colleagues with business development activities, including client proposals, internal and external presentations and writing articles and alerts on technical and other matters.
The Reward team is looking for individuals to join the team and work primarily on the design, implementation and tax advisory aspects of employee incentive arrangements which will include assisting clients implement appropriate employee incentive arrangements, to help them achieve their business strategy goals, as well as advising clients on transactions, specifically on how their existing incentive arrangements will be taxed and their new incentive arrangements will be structured, with the opportunity to work across other consulting workstreams within the team.
Previous experience of advising on the tax and legal aspects of incentive arrangements is preferred but is not essential.
We anticipate that candidates may come straight from school or university or from different roles that they have tried after completing their school or university education.
Following an initial probation period, we anticipate sponsoring the successful applicant through professional exams (ATT and CTA are likely to be the most relevant professional examinations).
Full training and support will be provided to ensure that the candidate can develop the right expertise to fulfil their potential in this area.
