ROLE SUMMARY :
The Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) Practice is seeking a strong candidate to fill a Knowledge Analyst role. The Knowledge Analyst will provide front-
line support for MSP topic inquires during his or her regional business hours, and partner with the global MSP Knowledge Team to provide excellent customer service and expert advisory to the consultant and leadership teams.
Additionally, the Knowledge Analyst will support Practice Area Leadership in topic-business activities and share topic business insights more broadly within the firm, as needed.
The Knowledge Analyst will engage with case teams to ensure their work builds on BCG's latest thinking on marketing, sales and pricing topics, to provide expert research, and to deliver original analysis and insights.
He / She will provide thought partnership and expert source know-how to case & topic businesses teams, as well as contribute to BCG's growing knowledge base by packaging Marketing, Sales & Pricing materials to feature on BCG's Knowledge Management database and other MSP commercial platforms.
The Knowledge Analyst will work in a generalist capacity across topics to build their expertise and eventually specialize in BCG's Marketing topic.
Expertise will be gained by conducting interviews at the end of cases and participating selectively in internal priority efforts including proprietary data and tool development and Tier One projects.
Acts as first-level support for requests to the MSP practice (during own regional time zone)Partners with case teams to identify & address critical knowledge needsProvides customized knowledge for client work, prepares accurate, well developed materialsDelivers original analysis and insights to case team, provides thought partnershipWith guidance from Mailbox Captain and Team Manager, identifies right expert & connects him / her with requestorLiaises with BCG Data & Research Services to ensure that requests for expertise are addressed and appropriate research is deliveredCollects, synthesizes, analyzes case team learning & inputs into new knowledge products (vignettes, experience)
