Debenhams are on a mission to make shopping confidence-boosting, sociable and fun. That’s why we want every customer that comes into our store to leave feeling an inch taller, a bit happier, and a little more confident than when they arrived.
We want to be famous for delivering that unique Debenhams experience and this starts with our people and the way we all work together.
What you'll be doing...
We look to our Merchandise Assistants to create a memorable and easy shopping experience for our customers, leaving a lasting impression for all the right reasons.
We’d like to hear from candidates who love working with product, have flair and attention to detail, and would be proud to act as a service ambassador.
What you will bring...
Our Merchandise Assistants take pride in delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers. They are responsible for the look of our departments, ensuring that stock is replenished and merchandised to brand profile, and that we have the sizes and options that our customers require.
Alongside this, they take pride in delivering the best service experience, whether that’s helping to queue bust at the tills or ensuring shoppers feel great in our fitting rooms.
You will be on hand to confidently advise on our products, and provide a service that wows.
When you'll be doing it...
Our stores are open 363 days a year, and we want our customers to enjoy a seamless experience whenever they choose to visit.
We operate a seven day shift pattern, and this role will require you to have the flexibility to work 5 variable days per week.
What you'll get in return...
Our roles can receive high volumes of applications and we may need to occasionally close a vacancy before the published expiry date.
We don’t want you to miss out on this fantastic opportunity so we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible.
