A rare and exciting opportunity to work for a national leading care provider as part of their senior management has arisen.

They specialise in providing high quality care and support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism.

The ideal candidate for this position and company is someone who is passionate about providing person centred care and someone at this level currently.

They are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager who is used to multisite management and being the line manager of Registered Manager.

Area Operations Manager Job Responsibilities :

Support the Registered Managers with the day to day operational management of the area, driving quality improvements to meet and exceed the requirements of external inspectorates.

This will include project activities; business development, staff performance and development, along with acting as troubleshooter’ for any issues with arise for the area or wider region.

Meet with local authorities and commissioners and driving new business have a commercial acumen.

Drive up quality, support stakeholder’s improvement plans to ensure consistency of practice across the sites and ensure regulatory compliance.

Be able to demonstrate sound leadership and management skills and able to effectively manage change for the progression of the services and quality of care.

Area Operations Manager Requirements :

A minimum of four year’s experience within the learning disability or mental health sector.

Minimum of three years management experience in similar services and settings

Appropriate consideration will be given to those with an NVQ Level 5 or NVQ 4 (or working towards)

Experience within the learning disability or mental health sector

Experience of multi-site management and managing Registered Managers.

Driver is essential and to have own car
