The Freshfields Global Centre provides both business and legal services to thefirm. Our services are delivered in a way which supports the global nature ofour firm and our clients, enables our fee earners to deliver exceptionalservice to our clients and to do that in a way which is efficient andeffective.
Our Centre in Manchester is the first site to be established inthe emerging Freshfields Global operating model. Our aspiration is to establishfurther sites in the US and Asia-Pacific in the coming years.
Key Role Responsibilities
1. Design and own the pitch content database
Support the design, implementation and business processes for maintaining and updating our pitch content library. Ideally you will have experience of SharePoint and other relevant technology.
Support the rollout of best practice guidance and training for stakeholders on how to use and update the content library.
2. Collate and update information
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) globally (e.g. lawyers, MBD colleagues, pricing, innovation teams etc).
Manage and motivate SMEs to update and contribute content at an agreed frequency.
Schedule regular reviews of the content library to identify areas that need to be updated or expanded and ensure compliance with our policies.
A strong writer, with experience of writing proposal content.
3. Continuous improvement
Support the review of the structure and function of the content library on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the needs of the business.
4. Credentials and league table management
Support the global pitch team with credentials searching, able to navigate our existing systems and guide others how to use them
Support our project to implement an update credentials management solution.
Degree educated - marketing qualifications ideal
Marketing and business development experience in a law firm or professional services context, with an emphasis on pitching and content management
Experience of working in an international business environment that requires buy-in and engagement of senior management or partners, as well as working across cultures successfully
Proven track record of project management and delivering against objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a real focus on writing and competitive positioning. High attention to detail, creativity and accuracy.
