Our product vision is to enhance the magic of face-to-face events by using digital tools and data to improve in-person interactions, and to develop new products that help our customers to do business even when they can’t be together.

Over the past several years, RX has completely rebuilt all its core digital platforms, and has successfully launched a set of revenue-generating digital products supporting face-to-face and virtual events, that we are mid-way through rolling out globally.

We are looking for an experienced Product Director to lead and further develop the core customer- facing platform (Atlas) that supports all our face-to-face events.

The Product Director will be responsible for completing the global rollout of the Atlas events platform, doubling the product revenue by 2025 to $50M by 2025, and designing and developing new products that enable buyers and sellers to engage and connect online and at our events.

This is a key role that will shape how the events industry better understands its audiences across multiple touchpoints, and uses that data to improve the value proposition of both face-to-face events and digital interactions.

This role is an excellent opportunity to define and deliver a product vision, and to have tangible commercial impact. It would be well suited to someone who has developed outstanding senior product leadership skills and is eager to demonstrate the ability to prioritise different revenue opportunities and deliver on these, working with business stakeholders in global markets including UK, US, France, Germany, China, Japan and Latin America.

It is well-supported by a team of talented product owners whom you will be responsible for developing, and matrixed resources from in-house and external technology resources, a product delivery team, and product marketing.

We are comfortable working remotely with colleagues around the world and have adopted hybrid working practices.

The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder and a driven personality to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to build exceptional products and services.

You will be part of a forward-thinking leadership team charged with building the next generation of digital events products in our industryand analytics for our customers, and must be committed to building a deep understanding of our internal and external customers and their objectives in different cultures and industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create product vision and priorities and roadmap for the Atlas global event platform based on a deep understanding of industry trends, customer needs, commercial opportunities and business priorities.
  • Help to double the revenue from Atlas by aligning Drive deep customer needs understanding and translate this into product priorities and roadmaps.
  • Constantly update view on where the market is heading.

  • Define and articulate a clear product strategy with event schedule and needs, go-to-market requirements, and sales priorities
  • for the Atlas global event platform, linked to go-to-market requirements. Communicate high level changes to the product backlog to support communications and release planning.
  • Contribute to overall RX product and data strategy together with VP product management, Chief Product Officer, and the wider product leadership team, and be a vocal supporter of the customer during internal strategy development
  • Define KPIs and deliver business results, including product adoption, revenue goals, user-facing outcome metrics, and NPS.
  • Develop clear product positioning and go-to-market plans by working with customer-facing teams such as local show teams.
  • Be a passionate advocate for the use of digital products to support our customers’ and users’ needs, at the most senior levels in RX
  • Build an operationally excellent team that follows
  • Follow best-in-class iterative, data-driven product development practices; follows effective software development approaches;
  • and builds up our data analytics capabilities including contributing to data strategy, our data lake, and analytics approach.

  • Ensure team is following effective software development processes, including agile and lean methodologies, ensuring that the team delivers on commitments for live events and key operational deliverables
  • Be accountable for developing and executing clear product positioning and go-to-market plans through coordinated development with external customer facing teams such as local show teams.
  • Co-lead organizational development practices, platform requirements, and project management framework, including contributing to data strategy, data lake, and analytics use cases.

  • Experience in software product management and team leadership ideally in agile environments and with a data analytics component. in agile environments
