Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse the impact of macroeconomic drivers and capital market trends on UK real assets
  • Consider the investment characteristics and performance of real assets within the wider context of other asset classes
  • Coherently communicate key messages to fund managers and investors via both presentations and written outputs
  • Participate in the forecasting process and contribute to the formulation of UK house views and preferred strategies
  • Contribute to the direction and content of research white papers
  • Write and edit research sections for fund reports and external publications
  • Service ad hoc requests

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks, ensuring multiple / competing deadlines are met
  • Comfortable engaging with senior business leaders
  • Ability to think both at a strategic level and offer insights at asset level
  • Skills Required

  • Education to degree level in economics, finance, statistics, real estate, or related subjects
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an analyst of capital / investment markets, real estate or other asset classes
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable dealing with large / complex datasets
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and data analysis packages
