Role Profile :
To lead a team of direct labour Supervisors and Suppliers to deliver all customer requirements within an agreed cost envelope
To lead a team of Supervisors to deliver the required customer results across a specified work area or geography.
Responsible for production delivery of specific Supplier depots on any specified workstream and / or area.
To manage Suppliers to deliver execution, Safety, Quality and Streetworks and to own the local relationship with specific suppliers as agreed with the Area Manager
To drive root cause analysis of failure, improvement action plans, monitoring and reporting such that Contractual Safety and Quality KPIs are met by those Suppliers and workstreams for which the Supplier Manager is responsible
Deliver all Production activity through the agreed operational delivery model(s) (e.g. supplier, direct labour, etc) in line with the agreed cost envelope
Drive a Safety First and Right First Time culture across the delivery organisation, backed up by improvement plans, through effective engagement with Suppliers, their management and operatives
Ensure that accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends are investigated competently and that effective root cause analysis, action planning, implementation and monitoring follow
Own the day-to-day operational relationship with those suppliers agreed with the Regional Production Manager.
Maintain close working with CCO Manager & Coordinators to ensure alignment with end-customer needs across all workstreams.
Drive Quality Improvement as a theme alongside and equal to Safety in all engagements with Suppliers and Operatives
Support the Area Manager and CCO Manager in reviewing patch capacity against current and forecast demand and ensure that any resulting gaps are adequately addressed.
Ensure that skills and accreditation records are complete, accurate and up-to-date and regularly review with all Suppliers against their commitments

Good knowledge and experience in management of civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure maintenance contracts.
Good knowledge of HSEQ & NRSWA
Good communication, people management and leadership skills.

Appropriate technical knowledge of the work being supervised.
Trustworthy & reliable.
