This is an opportunity to join the Supply Chain Synchronised Planning & Order fulfilment team, part of Deloitte’s Supply Chain and Network Operations (SC&NO) practice, where we combine strategic thinking with hands on practicality to diagnose and solve our clients’ most critical Supply Chain challenges.

Your role

As a Senior Manager in the team, you will help our clients transform their operations, whilst creating and managing on-going client relationships, and help identify further opportunities to support across their business.

Each project will be unique, dependent on the nature of the client’s challenge and will range from developing and implementing large-scale supply chain transformations, to optimising discrete process areas.

You will demonstrate strong experience with deep routed subject matter expertise to support our clients, whilst fulfilling your own career and personal growth ambitions : simultaneously contributing to practice development, refining our industry-leading approaches to maintain our competitive edge.

This will involve leading of thought leadership and developing new propositions as well as taking opportunities to contribute to the development and management of our team.

You will be responsible for growing our healthy sales pipeline by leading sales pursuits and delivering pitches.

Responsibilities :

  • Building and sustaining client relationships whilst identifying, leading and supporting potential sales opportunities;
  • Oversight of the delivery of multi-workstream transformational supply chain programmes. This will involve leading engagements which combine simultaneous process changes, technology implementations and associated organisational transitions and providing technical support;
  • Ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget and in line with client expectations using both waterfall and agile / iterative delivery methods throughout project lifecycle (Imagine, Deliver, Run)
  • Delivering subject matter expertise during client engagement in order to provide external expertise to develop their processes and operations
  • Bringing the expertise necessary in supply chain to provide junior resource : leadership, mentoring and coaching that helps them with their own development and simultaneously supports the broadening of our internal capabilities;
  • Development of thought leadership, represent planning and fulfilment supply chain expertise at forums and creating external eminence for Deloitte;

    Your professional experience

    Essential

  • Consulting experience in leading the delivery of global and complex end-to-end supply chain transformation programmes involving multiple workstreams across multiple service lines;
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering technology enabled transformation projects throughout the project lifecycle, with experience of managing and engaging with C-suite stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of linking financial and business goals to supply chain strategy, operating model design and process execution;
  • Experience of the organisational models, processes and technologies used to execute Supply Chain processes;
  • Understanding of the project sales cycle, including structuring a programme with appropriate resources and fees modelling; and
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing strong teams and individual members.
  • A real passion and enthusiasm for Supply Chain, combined with an innovative mindset to challenge client status-quo approach to quickly and creatively to deliver and solve client issues.
  • Desirable

  • Understanding of how to integrate responsible and sustainable themes (social, economic and environmental) into supply chain solutions;
  • Up to date understanding of latest end-to-end supply chain trends, particularly relating to supply chain technologies and able to build alliance partnerships;
