Our Finance teams are responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. They’re also responsible for developing corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate data, accounting & cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

As the you will assist the financial team to provide management accounts, financial analysis of profitability and budget forecast preparations in line with the businesses requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our FP&A team working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

The role :

Work within a team to deliver information and recommendations that enables the business to identify and optimise levers

Be responsible for the line management and development of the assistant management accountants

Develop analysis function to raise profitability awareness

Produce analysis to aid the business in understanding key customer trends

Increase awareness of key profitability drivers

Monitor effectiveness of KPI’s and implement more appropriate measures where necessary

Implement appropriate reporting tools; develop planning tools to improve accuracy and process of planning

Manage analysis of retailer and product profitability to identify trends and recommend actions for improvement on performance

Manage production of monthly reporting pack including commentary on variances and explanation of trends

Assist in production of 3 year plans, budgets and forecasts and working with budget holders to identify and drive savings

Build strong relationships with budget holders through review of costs and PO’s to enable identification of opportunities & risks

Develop use of information systems to improve analytical processes and information

Your experience :

CIMA ACCA qualification or equivalent

Substantial experience in PQE

Advanced Excel skills; highly analytical

Experience of working in banking or Financial Services would be desirable
