The Glassworks London Retail Management training programme is specifically designed to develop promising candidates with limited UK-based retail experience into senior sales assistants, team leaders and store management.

The three-year management training programme is unique for its wide exposure, covering topics such as the fundamentals of sales and service, visual merchandising, stock operations, personal styling, KPI reporting, brand marketing / communications, and more.

Split into three year-long courses progressing from sales assistant apprentices to team leader apprentices and manager apprentices, the programme includes external training and course certifications subject to successful end point assessments.

Candidates may apply to the team leader or manager levels, subject to experience, or begin the programme at the sales assistant level with hands-on management support and incredible industry and commercial exposure.

These positions are competitive and strictly reserved for driven, enthusiastic candidates pursuing a career in fashion retail management.

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Good computer knowledge including Word and Excel and printing capability

  • Warm and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Focused on sales and results with a love of fashion and creativity
  • Organized, responsible and reliable
  • Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs with grades 5 to 9, including Maths and English
  • Future prospects

    Successful trainees can expect to progress into retail team leader and manager training courses within Glassworks London and into junior management roles at department stores, luxury brands or fashion boutiques.
