What will you be doing?

The Global Product Consultant has three main responsibilities :

  • Engaging with local market project managers and consultants to ensure is the product is deployed and configured within a customer’s environment in the shortest time period possible.
  • Presenting the product in the best possible manner, through product demonstration to qualified prospects and customers who are in the sales cycle.
  • Being the first point of contact within the Product team for Support & Consultancy for customer identified issues or questions, investigating and validating before engaging with R&D.
  • Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engaging with local market project managers and consultants to accelerate deployment and configuration of the product based on the local markets consultants / customers needs
  • Taking on product configuration & mapping tasks
  • Educating customers on the use of the products data cubes
  • Articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, in order to understand customer technical and business requirements (explicit and non-explicit) demonstrating how the product can address their needs
  • Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current product offerings and provide input around new products.
  • Construct and deliver training (knowledge transfer / product functionality) that ensures that the Sales, Consultancy & Support teams understand the product to the required level within the local market
  • Develop a strong network with stakeholders to help implement best practice solutions & ensure appropriate and efficient use of resources.
  • Flight to site product expert to investigate issues on behalf of the product team
  • Monitoring the Product’s Support Request queue and managing responses in a timely manor
  • Be available (with notice) to flight to any global market to engage in sales, deployment, training or support needs
  • Experience

  • Must come from a relevant Services / ICT background and have a proven track record of involvement in architecting, deploying and investigating issues for software products
  • Must be very strongly process-driven with a track record of successfully handling change and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Commercially aware with very strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry including Rev8 and Drive is essential
  • Knowledge of Data Visibility, Reporting or Business Intelligence products is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to advise, persuade and influence people in a professional and effective manner
  • Must be able to plan and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously and to effectively organise workload.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Open for challenges and striving for continuous improvement, motivating and engaged
  • A team player who is influential and builds good working relationships across all functions.
  • Flexibility, integrity and problem-solving skills are a pre-requisite to be successful in this role
  • Willing to travel to any global market with notice.
