Head of Operations Odgers Berndtson Executive Search

The business is looking to hire a Head of Operations to develop and lead a team supporting our Executive Search business.

Reporting to the COO, the aim is to develop a market-leading capability and team, providing best in class support to the teams winning and delivering our work.

Driving improvement is at the heart of this role, as we are constantly looking to develop our service and processes to maintain our position as a leading global search firm.

You will be expected to build and lead a team delivering to the highest standards, understanding and drawing on good practice from wider professional services and beyond.

You will be expected to develop a sophisticated understanding of our core business and how it can be supported in line with the firm’s strategy and commercial context.

A major focus of the role will be the management and evolution of Odgers Berndtson Intelligent Search (OBIS), the firm’s new core digital platform built on the SalesForce ecosystem.

As Product Manager for this exciting capability, you will lead the direction of this capability on behalf of its business users.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a best-in-class operational capability to support the changing needs of the UK business to deliver for clients, candidates, and colleagues
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders, including the executive team, to understand the business goals and strategies and priorities best use of resources
  • Continually review best practices, processes and policies in our operations to drive the highest quality standards
  • As Product Manager of OBIS, to chair the Product Design Team and act as the leading interface between business users and the technology teams.
  • Working with key stakeholders, assess and prioritise possible changes and improvements to OBIS to inform and update the product roadmap
  • Oversee a learning and development programme enabling users to harness technology to help them succeed
  • Work closely with international stakeholders to enable the firm to work more consistently on a global basis and deliver better for clients and candidates
  • Drive the conception, implementation and adoption of new capabilities which add value to our core business
  • About you

  • You wont necessarily have worked within an Executive search environment, but may come from a professional services or management consultancy background.
  • Experience delivering systems process and change, ideally through digital platforms, is critical.
