Role Outline Your responsibilities include :
Senior member of the leadership team helping shape the business strategy and people engagement across giffgaff.
Sales Strategy & execution across Digital, Direct Response, Distribution, Indirect channels, Students and Super Recruiters.
Sim & Phones business including strategy, portfolio management, operations and logistics for new, pre-owned and trade-in.
Responsible for B2B, Commercial Partnerships and Business Development.
Providing regular sales and performance reporting against OKRs for your channels and delivering insight back to the business to inform on-going strategy and planning.
Working with internal teams, including operations, finance, business intelligence, marketing, legal, Telefonica supply chain and procurement to ensure compliance and cross-functional buy-in across all stages of delivery.
Presenting to senior stakeholders to obtain buy-in to media and creative plans / strategies for media campaigns.
Responsible for connecting giffgaff with O2UK finding synergies, efficiencies and opportunities for growth across Sales and Marketing
Reporting to the CEO and Responsible for 17 people. 7 Phones and Distribution, 8 on Digital Media, 1 Trading Manager, 1 Head of Business Development.
Also work with 3rd parties and Specialist agencies for Media, SEO, Students, Distribution, Research, Logistics, Phone supply and recycling,
Budgets The role involves managing a budget of £15 - £20m per year.
Skills and Experience Strengths should be focussed on the following areas :
Commercial / Sales ownership of customer acquisition
Channel strategy. Digital marketing and Retail Distribution
Mobile ranging, sales and promotion.
Innovation and entrepreneurship
The above experience should be primarily gained in ’Business to Consumer companies
The giffgaff team is relatively small and the culture is that of a dynamic, mid-size, growth business. The giffgaff office is separately located from Telefonica in offices in Uxbridge.
There is a strong focus on achieving results by making decisions and acting quickly to implement in a flexible way. Much of what giffgaff does has not been tried before - you will therefore have to be comfortable with uncertainty.
