But most importantly, with everything we do, we leave a positive sustainable legacy for future generations to enjoy We are currently recruiting for a Development Project Manager to play a key role in the team responsible for delivering the Silvertown Quays redevelopment, a 27 hectare site in the Royal Docks, London’s only Enterprise Zone and the largest regeneration area in Europe.
Our ambitious plans will transform Silvertown Quays into both the new centre for the Royal Docks and a new visitor destination for London, with a unique character born from the area’s post-industrial water based heritage.
It will become one of London’s great neighbourhoods providing thousands of new homes and over 1.8m sqft of office, brand, retail, and community buildings.
The project will set new standards for sustainable innovation and drive socio economic betterment for the London Borough of Newham, through community involvement, affordable housing, and business and employment opportunities.
Reporting into the Director of Development Project Management, the Development Project Manager will ensure that the team works in a collaborative way with external and internal stakeholders including joint venture partners, capital partners and all of the Lendlease integrated team to create value through places where communities thrive .
Job Summary Key Accountabilities Responsible for Safety and Sustainability strategy for the project under management and delivering it within the design and product created Responsible for Procurement Strategy to ensure coordinated design and procurement during the conversion and construction process, incl the procurement of a main / sub-contractors Responsible for managing the client project expectations, balancing their aspirational objectives with the commercial constraints Support the Development objectives & commercial requirements Managing and co-ordinating the specialist, design, cost and preconstruction support services during the conversion phase of a project Responsible for establishing the project conversion programme including coordinating the inputs of other functions and the ultimate owner of the programme Responsible for managing project risks and opportunities which could impact cost / time / quality and deliverability of the project, contract negotiations and contract forms Lead Development in assessing the technical and time consequences of alternative product and design solution.
