The Senior Executive SEO will sit in the STA Central Marketing centre of excellence. The role will lead the companywide global SEO strategy whilst delivering and implementing best in class SEO practices to ensure that STA Travel is measurably successful in its organic omni-channel content strategy.
What you’re accountable for?
Drive the holistic SEO global strategy and implementation.
Continuously optimising and course-correcting to continually improve SEO performance.
Close collaboration with the wider global marketing and product departments, both central and local, as well as technical infrastructure and web research & development teams.
Deliver SEO revenue targets and KPIs across all STA Travel divisions and countries, and for all STA Travel products.
Leverage technical and strategic knowledge of onsite merchandising and SEO to build and implement effective best practice strategies to drive natural rankings and to help meet revenue and cost of sales targets.
Support the design and specification process of new pages / projects ensuring compatibility with online marketing techniques (SEO & PPC), usability, conversion and ROI.
Continuous training of wider content team to ensure SEO optimised across all web presences worldwide.
Keeping informed and abreast of all major developments across major search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) that will impact SEO performance

A degree in eCommerce or IT would be advantageous
A minimum of 3 years experience of improving SEO performance for a multinational brand
A minimum 5 years experience working in a competitive and highly pressurised online B2C environment
Technical and developmental capabilities including SEO tools and coding knowledge (CSS, Java, SEMRush, Ryte, etc.)
Spotting opportunities and keeping abreast of developments in industry SEO standards to drive full platform utilisation
