The role of Information Governance Manager is really important to us. You will be instrumental in embedding the records management lifecycle across the Aldermore estate and implanting the stages that a record undergoes throughout the lifecycle.

Based in our dynamic Reading office, you will sit amongst a large team and report to the Head of Data Governance and Data Management.

What would your day look like?

  • You will be building new processes to embed the records management lifecycle across the Aldermore estate, implementing the stages that a record undergoes throughout the lifecycle- Create / Receive Use / Modify Maintain / Protect Dispose / Destroy Archive / Preserve.
  • Establishing and maintaining the classification, retention and formal processes required for records.
  • Embedding the process for secure destruction and de-identification of obsolete records in a manner that does not detract from Aldermore’s privacy obligations and aligns with Aldermore’s information security policy.
  • Establishing the arrangement of archives in accordance with set standards that preserves contextual information.
  • What do we expect of you?

  • Prior experience of working across Data Management / Governance environments to ensure the continued improvement of critical data across the organisation.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining robust and accurate records management reporting across an organisation.
  • Having already worked within an organisation with exposure to complex data environments.
  • Proven ability in driving transformational data activities
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across the organisation.
