Applications are invited for an experienced administrator to provide support to the British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences.
The role holder will be responsible for the overall provision of administrative and secretarial support to the Professor and his research group, as well as providing reciprocal cover for one other secretary within the division.
This is a wide-ranging role, with particular emphasis on providing financial management and HR administration support, therefore, experience of research grants administration, managing budgets and HR administration would be a distinct advantage.
The role holder will have significant experience in a relevant administrative or secretarial role and should be a self-motivated and organised person with excellent interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, acting effectively on their own initiative and with a high level of attention to detail.
