What is the Private Brands Manager role?

Working within one of the fastest growing areas of Amazon, you will manage the existing relationships with strategic manufacturers and brand owners, being ultimately responsible for their performance and brand development throughout Private Brands in Europe.

You will account manage 10 - 15 strategic sellers, working with them as they seek to move into new regions, launch new versions of their products, and build out their brand strategy. To do this you will :

  • Set and drive joint business plan goals with your sellers, supporting them to define their key growth priorities (i.e. Q4 deals strategy)
  • Drive marketing initiatives with your Sellers to grow their brands in Europe
  • Develop relationships with multiple internal teams, including those sitting across EU5 and in China
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the Brand Management team, implementing the plan for 2022 and beyond
  • Project manage at least one area for the whole Amazon Private Brands programme
  • Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects and create startup benefits

    What are the required skills?

    Operating in a fast-moving and challenging environment, Amazon’s high performance bar requires that you are :

  • Self-motivated and results driven with passion about online business, e-commerce, startups, and business development
  • 3+ years of professional experience, including project management and / or account management experience
  • Able to work autonomously and think big, taking responsibility for achieving your targets
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to apply intermediate / advanced Excel skills

    What is the desired experience?

  • Demonstrated track record of success in business development and project management
  • Experience working in or with startups
  • Intermediate / advanced SQL / ETL skills
  • Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through education
