About the role
Whetheryou’re in charge of a unit or a floor at The Sidcup, the day-to-day lives of your residents will beshaped by your care and dedication.
You’ll lead your team to ensure thateverything we do provides the absolute highest quality of service not tomention developing the kind of deep relationships that make residents’ liveslonger, healthier and happier.
You and your team will do that first of all bycaring for each person’s wellbeing assessing their physical, mental andsocial needs, and maintaining impeccably accurate records on every individual.
It’s not just about the hard facts though : it’s about understanding them andtheir families inside and out; taking the time to know them and care for themas people their stories, their passions, their backgrounds.
As well asbuilding personal relationships with the residents and the people they careabout, you’ll also care about the home itself and about fostering a sense ofcommunity.
You’ll create and develop strong links with local professionalbodies, raising the care home’s profile in the community. You’ll go above andbeyond sometimes covering outside of normal hours too to make sure that ourhome is everything it can be, for residents and staff alike.
Who we’re looking for
You’llneed to be a level one Registered Nurse but we’re looking for more than justqualifications on paper. We want someone who cares about the same things theresidents do : their independence, their choice, and their sense of dignity.
Youvalue their quality of life, their sense of spirit, and you care about makingevery day special for them, whatever comes your way.
In short, you radiatecommitment and a passion for care and because of that, you form relationshipsof deep trust and understanding with residents and their families.
