About the team
Global Real-Time Payments (GRTP) is a newly formed FIS venture, within the FIS Chief Growth Office that is focused on building a global Network-of-Networks infrastructure to promote real-time payments innovation across the globe.
The GRTP’s mission is to fuel the transformation to real time digital first economies, through the provision of mission critical software and future payment scheme innovations.
These efforts support the wider FIS vision to be the market leader in the global real time payments & money movement. The incumbent for this role will pe part of the Chief Product Office organization, responsible to support the GRTP product growth initiatives.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Product Manager supporting the GRTP product development roadmap, You will join a team of Product Managers responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of our global money movement family of products, across multiple use cases.
You will be responsible for ongoing internal and external partner management, driving the creation of innovative products.
You will understand, and support drive the product vision by working very closely with colleagues in engineering to ensure that we build best in class products that maximise the return on investment and maintain a relentless focus on improving, simplifying and unifying the customer experiences.
You will assess internal and external customer and business requirements, consolidating views from the wider market along with internal departments.
You will develop a clear, prioritised product roadmap, interpreting the needs of customers and internal stakeholders into new capabilities.
You will define and maintain non-card payment schemes value proposition solution blueprint and roadmap.
You will collaborate across the design function and product ownership to shape the roadmap design, understanding the feature and epic level breakdown to inform the product backlog.
You will produce supporting journey artefacts such as process flows, sequencing diagrams and context models to assist in the wider understanding of the feature to be delivered
You will gather functional, non-functional and technical requirements, being able to translate these into meaningful user stories complete with acceptance criteria.
Identify relational elements of cross-team requirements, ensuring dependencies are managed
Identify and engage with 3rd party services that may enhance the clients platform, working across Partnerships and Technology teams as appropriate.
Inform the technical and business landscape models to ensure that a joined up end-to-end design pattern can be maintained.
What you bring :
Domain expert in non-card payment schemes landscape : US (TCH RTP, ACH, Wires), UK (FPS, BACS, CHAPS), EU (SEPA ICT, CT, DD, Classic), Swift
Understanding of technical and non-technical Payment Scheme requirements
Understanding of the security and fraud implications regarding Payment Scheme
Understanding of retail and SME financial services including the role of regulators and management of risk (e.g. conduct risk)
Extensive experience in FinTech; Payment experience is plus.
Solid Product Management experience of the full lifecycle, e.g : launch, migration, end of life.
The stamina and tenacity to drive product change in the face of uncertainty and a rapidly evolving market.
An understanding that how we deliver our products impacts the experience of end-users and other stakeholders.
Ability to interface and co-design with software developers building cloud-based architectures based on micro-services and API gateways
Confident presenter and communicator whether internal or external.
Demonstrable decision-making skills.
Highly motivated with a desire to drive results.
Added bonus if you have :
Prior working experience in start-up environment or corporate innovation team
SAFE Product Management experience, Knowledge of Jira and / or Rally (tools for planning, tracking, and release of software features and enhancements
Experience collaborating with virtual and global distributed teams
