As a Bid Executive you will be responsible for providing dedicated bids and business development support to the PIE (Industry & Services and Financial Services strategic markets) team.
The role will support the firm's growth strategy by helping to win new work through the production of high-quality pitch and presentation documents, and support and advice throughout the competitive tender process.
Role & Responsibilities
Project manage bid traffic for the I&S and FS strategic markets and provide regular reports and analysis.
Provide insight by preparing pre-tender desk research including Business Intelligence (BI).
Support the production of high-quality pitch documents and presentations, liaising with all parts of the business. Support will range from co-ordinating pitch team meetings, inputting to pitches being managed by client-facing teams to manging the end-to-end development of selected pitches.
Prepare professional documents in PowerPoint in line with the firm's brand and best practice and liaise with the Design & Print team on pitches being produced by them in InDesign.
Liaise with overseas teams to co-ordinate and collate information, where necessary, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Maintain and manage a library of credentials, case studies and CVs and be the main point of contact for the UK's input to the Global Business Hub
Provide support to other members of the PIE marketing teams on other pitches, as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Proven project management skills and experience of managing the development of pitch and presentation documents within a professional services environment is essential.
An enthusiastic and proactive team player.
Razor-sharp proofreading and editing skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and strong general IT skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects with critical and often tight deadlines.
Ability to work pro-actively under pressure, with accuracy and focus.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as be self-starter / self-motivated.
Degree and / or intention to study for CIM qualifications is advantageous.
