UnitCatering Supervisor (Grade 4)

LancashireCounty Council provide catering to over 500 schools across Lancashire, servingover 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individualsto join the service.

You willwork as part of a team at St Mary's Primary School providing high quality,healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Keyresponsibilities :

Cook andserve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans

Directand / or supervise other employees

Ordersupplies and store deliveries

Maintainrecords and stock control

Maintainagreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchenhygiene

What weare looking for :

Experienceof large scale catering

Knowledgeof food service and catering in general

Organisational,cost control and supervisory skills

Recognisedsupervisor or team leader qualification would be desirable

Term TimeOnly

5.50Hours per day - hours are variable depending upon school mealuptake
