We are looking for someone to join our Business Systems Team as an IT Customer Support Officer.

In this role you will be responsible for responding to and dealing with incidents or requests generated from the business, relating to IT users.

You will also offer first line support to include, but is not limited to, software, hardware, faults, moves, additions, changes and deletions to the IT services we provide to the users in accordance with the IT policies and procedures.

Applicants will have :

  • two qualifications at Level 2 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework, such as GCSEs (grades 9-4), Award, Certificate or Diploma at Level 2 or equivalent;
  • good time management and organisational skills;
  • experience in working with a wide range of people and groups;
  • knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies; and
  • the ability to work outside normal office hours (the role can be between 7.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday).
  • Applicants will also need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle on a daily basis in order to travel throughout the district as required by the business.
