Utilising a strong range of generalist skills and experience, the candidate weâ€™re looking for is able to create a wide variety of polished content across a broad range of projects.
They will be skilled in both 2D art production (for use in print and digital), and the creation of video content, such as showreel materials, marketing videos, dev diaries and-
the-like. Their skillset needs to include the manipulation of completed art assets; raw asset creation; 3D scene composition, lighting & rendering;
graphic design; compositing and video editing.
Creation of 2D assets to support our product and studio marketing â€ both physical prints and digital media.
Creation of video assets for in-game use, community sharing, trailers, studio promotion, and more.
Working with in-engine tools to capture game footage and screenshots.
Stellar portfolio and / or showreel showing off all of your flair.
Demonstrable mastery of composition, colour and timing.
Expert level in video editing software and associated plugins (such as for VFX creation), ideally Adobe After Effects.
Expert level in a 3D package to set up scenes for rendering. This may include the need to set up materials for rendering, light scenes, pose rigged characters, applying pre-
made animations, set up basic bespoke animations, create multi-pass renders, etc.
Able to work at a professional level in 2D software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
Up-to-date understanding of pipelines for content creation within a games environment.
Instinct for creating content to be used in a wide range of consumption points, including web, stores, events and social media.
Solid understanding of the content requirements for social media.
High level of communication; able to liaise with internal departments as well as represent the company with external partners.
Creative mind with a proven ability to innovate. A desire to push expectations and strive for the best.
Ability to create well-organised and tidy files.
Ability to take direction and deliver to a brief, often working in an iterative way.
Ability to plan and estimate timescales and reliably deliver against these.
Solid knowledge and enthusiasm for video games, as well as wider contemporary media.

Experience in a similar role within the games industry
