New to care or experienced? Join us as a Part Time Waking Night Support Worker at Arundel Housein Essex. Arundel House is a residential living service that supports adults aged 50+ with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs including behaviours that may challenge, restricted mobility, sight / hearing impairment and dementia.

Each resident has an individual activity plan tailored around their likes and dislikes to ensure that they participate in meaningful activities.

Everyone living at Arundel House is encouraged to be involved in the running of the home through weekly menu planning meetings, monthly residents’ meetings and involvement in regular health and safety committee meetings.

Location : Frinton-On-Sea, Essex, CO13 9BE

Permanent Part Time

£10,692 per annum based on 25 hours per week.

Additional Information :

Your new job : Shifts are on a rota basis from 7am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10pm 5 days a week, including working every other weekend and Bank Holidays.

As a Support Worker you will play a vital part in providing the people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life.

You willassist people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need, as well as emotional support.

This may include :

  • Completing and maintaining detailed records, reports and notes
  • Cleaning, cooking and shopping
  • Planning and engaging in activities
  • Administering and recording medication
  • Complying with health and safety requirements

    You!

    You do not need to have experience to be a Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required. We employ our Support Workers based on their values.
