You'll be collaborating with product designers, subject matter experts and project managers to create both localization strategy andlocalized content that solves real problems for our global customers.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Previous professional writing and or localization experience.
Previous content or localization strategy experience (5+ years preferred).
Proficient in online publishing software and programs.
Information management skills : handle large amounts of complex data.
Strong written & verbal communication skills, sharp eye for detail, research skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
Communicates equally well within team & across partner teams.
Advanced knowledge of industry trends in Content & Localization Strategy (intelligent content, taxonomy, single-source, etc) and extensive practical experience applying this knowledge.
Localize complex concepts into easy-to-read, concise content; can adapt content to meet needs of different locales
Validate quality prior to publishing to ensure content and tags / metadata are set appropriately and will perform within current technology solutions
Experience with SaaS products, and strong ability to learn new software quickly.
Mentors localization writers and supports coworkers through peer reviews of content as needed.
Deliver all content in / team backlog with speed and obsessive attention to accuracy with a holistic and customer first approach.
Ensures localization team follows corporate guidelines and style guides to maintain quality and voice & tone standards for all content created.
Communicates strategy, direction and Localization Information Design plans effectively to adaptation, and linguistic teams and when necessary to all levels of the organization, across organizational boundaries and to all sizes of audiences.
Ensuresthese are reflected in the work of their teams. Aggregates data to support narrative and effectiveness of outcomes.
Understands and capitalizes on opportunities created by organizational and operational changes.
Identifies areas for improvement within content development approaches and content systems and solicits ideas from external and internal stakeholders.
Analyzes existing information and mechanisms for providing the information.
Suggests ways to restructure information to better enable localization at scale that also meets the needs of users.
Assists in identifying skill set gaps and recruiting, selection and training forLocalization Writers.
QuickBooks experience (and attach : Payroll, Payments, TSheets) product knowledge would be aplus
