Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Achieve personal annual sales goal (annual contract value) of :
  • $1.3 million / year
  • Acquire and manage all new strategic Partner customers within our Ideal Customer Profile and within your designated territory.
  • Examples of target customers are : Managed Service Providers (MSP), Value-Added Resellers (VAR), Office Equipment (OE), Technology Service Providers (TSP), Internal IT, Security (MSP+).

  • Follow the ConnectWise value / solutions-based sales process. We provide robust lead generation to assist you in developing your pipeline.
  • Approximately 60% of leads will be provided to you by the company (pre-qualified)Approximately 40% of leads will be your responsibility (outbound calls)

  • Prospect for new accounts through telephone cold calling and email communication You are expected to make 40-50 outbound calls / dayProspecting list will be provided to you by the company
  • Qualify prospective accounts to build and maintain a pipeline of prospects to achieve annual sales goals, set quarterly
  • Negotiate opportunities terms, discounts, implementation Sales Manager provides final approval on discounts (if exceeds threshold)
  • Close sales that meet the ConnectWise standards for pricing, margins, terms and conditions. Average size of transaction : $15K annual per sale : Average # of sales : 85 transactions / yearlength of sales cycle : SE 30-60 days
  • Hunter Role with opportunity for cross sell for up to 6 months if there is active forecastable pipeline that is entered into the CRM system.
  • Location : Tampa, Cranberry, London, Sydney
  • Travel : Less than 10%
  • Though primarily tele-sales oriented, occasional travel to prospect sites, conferences and events in an effort to acquire new Small (1-9ee), Medium (10-99ee)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required :

  • 2+ years of proven IT sales success achieving quota
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales process, including negotiating sales opportunities to closure, through a deep understanding of a prospective customer buying process
  • Proven sales track record of success and ability to identify opportunities and leverage internal & external resources appropriately
  • Experience in relevant channels preferred : Managed Service Providers (MSP), Value-Added Resellers (VAR), Office Equipment (OE), Technology Service Providers (TSP), Security (MSP+)
  • Working Conditions :

  • Normal professional, office environment
  • 20% travel to industry tradeshows
