Working closely with the kitchen team you will maintain a safe and hygienic food preparation area and immaculate presentation standards.

Duration : - Permanent Vacancy
Salary : - £16,010 per annum (Equiverlant to £8.21 per hour)
Hours : - Working 37.5 hours per week, you will work 5 days across the 7.
Please note that this role does NOT require to work evenings or split shifts, but there will be weekend hours involved in this role.
The hours will be either 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm. (All hours can be discussed at interview)
For the right applicant there is an opportunity to progress in this position & to become a commis chef.

What you'll be doing
Working in our kitchen, you'll be ensuring our visitors have the best dining experience possible through keeping up the pace with the potwash as well as the food preparation.
We have a friendly, hard-working team here and we're very passionate about Polesden Lacey. Every penny of the profit we make from our Food & Beverage offerings goes straight back into the conservation work that's done here so everything we do, whether it be a little task or big, contributes to a great cause.
The working hours are very sociable- we don't have to work late nights or split shifts. We do have to work weekends and bank holidays but you'll be finished in time to enjoy some quality time with your family and friends.
