Fenics, the electronic trading and financial technology arm of the BGC Group (BGCP) is looking for an Execution Associate to join our Fenics Invitations Fixed Income Execution Desk.

Fenics Invitations is the newest addition to the firm’s Electronic Fixed Income offering, providing all-day, mid-market trading with targeted solicitation between the group’s Buyside and Sellside counterparties.

The Execution desk responsible for all day-to-day communication with Invitation’s counterparties. From working client orders and providing market colour to settling trades and troubleshooting technical issues, the Execution desk is the first stop for our clients and is relied upon to provide the highest quality of customer service to our users.

  • Execution Analysts are primarily responsible for;
  • Supporting Execution Associates with timely / accurate execution of client orders and relevant market colour.
  • Distribution of prices to the desk’s franchise on a regular / timely basis.
  • Accurate booking and allocation of client trades to ensure timely settlement of trades.
  • Handling customer trading / technology issues
  • Supporting Sales with client onboarding and ad hoc tasks.
  • Supporting Management / Strategy with ad hoc tasks.
  • Skills

  • Fluency in English plus additional language (German / French / Italian / Spanish) desired.
  • Excel desired with competency in VBA / Python / C++ looked upon favourably.
  • Proven ability to form internal / external relationships.
  • Strong numerical ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and can act accurately under pressure.
  • Passionate out electronic markets and technology. An e person.
  • Qualifications

  • Degree educated.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to sit the CISI exams once they join.
