This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a key leadership role within the Institute of Nursing and Midwifery Care Excellence.

The Institute Senior Nurse post will work with the ADN and Clinical Lead (education, Development and Workforce and will focus particularly on the strategic implementation of post graduate specialist education programmes with HEI partners, and development of an Institute accreditation framework for NUH specialist training.
A key aspect of the role is to scope innovative education programmes and develop income generating opportunities
They will support the development and implementation of the Nursing and Midwifery Strategy, including management and expansion of the NUH N&M Institute for Care Excellence.
The post holder will work with the Senior Institute team to lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of educational, continuing professional development, workforce planning and development strategies and policies for N&M.
This to realise the proposed outcomes of the Nursing and Midwifery Strategy through informed development, investment and evaluation of education, practice development and learning.
The post holder will work with the ADN and Clinical Lead to ensure compliance with educational quality assurance processes and professional standards as required by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Health Education England and other national policy, regulatory bodies and providers of education as required.
They will be accountable for the efficient and effective use and management of education resources, budgets and commissioned education programmes, leading the provision of high quality evidence based nursing and midwifery practice across the Trust.
This post holder will need to be highly motivated, a skilled communicator and have evidence of a substantial understanding of research and educational methodologies.
You will be NMC registered with contemporary clinical experience in acute care nursing, a first degree and evidence of masters level study.
