Strategy at Edelman The strategy team at Edelman acts as a centre of excellence and internal consultants across the entire business.
Our role is to help make Edelman’s ideas smarter, more effective and easier to buy. Our contribution takes the form of : ·Campaign development through identifying the territory which powers the creative brief or an activation strategy.
We use insights to anchor the campaign in what works.·Client consultancy developing problem solving workshops and other engagements to bring our expertise into solving client issues, and creating opportunities for extending and deepening the client relationships.

We deliver award winning creative work both globally and locally, and strategy is at the heart of that work. The Strategist role is an integral part of the team, helping power creative and campaigning and building skills in client consultancy and brand strategy.
The Role As a Strategist at Edelman, you will have responsibilities across our full client-list, both consumer and b2b. Your role will be to craft powerful, compelling creative strategies in often complex and diverse landscapes, while helping to build wider planning capabilities throughout the business by working with account leads to augment their understanding, expertise and use of research, analysis and insights.
Successful candidates will be recognised for their exploration of the intersection between brand, culture and people. They will lead qualitative research and will work with our in-house colleagues to shape quantitative research, being active in helping junior teammates hone their own research skills too.
With all this behind then, they will work effectively with our creative and communication leads to shape projects, both big and small, local and multi-market.
This work will span creative strategy, complete campaign strategies and longer-term brand and communication strategies. As a senior member of the team they will be a master of the creative brief and expert at getting the work produced by navigating client organisations and our own teams effectively.
They will lead cross functional teams and projects, flexing their skills in active listening, facilitation and trust building with clients.
Successful candidates will become a senior part of our broader planning community, working across pitches and clients in an integrated manner across teams, disciplines and Countries.
