Assistant In-Room Dining Manager

Room Dining Manager to supervise and develop the In-Room Dining team and will be in charge and responsible for the overall administration and operations of the department in the absence of the Department Head.

The Assistant In-Room Dining manager will lead and motivate the In-Room Dining team to enhance performance, achieve business goals, financial budgets and service standards.

Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London is the first elevated luxury hotel in the city. It offers 202 guestrooms and suites located throughout levels 34 & 52 of The Shard, Western Europe’s tallest building.

With unparalleled views across London, the hotel features a number of signature dining venues & three river-facing event spaces.

What we are looking for?

  • Knowledge of Opera.
  • Additional languages.
  • Experience in a luxury 5* hotel.
  • Flexible & adaptable to different working conditions.
  • You will :

  • Have an ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting. Carry, push, pull objects / trays / trolleys.
  • Oral & written fluency in English.
  • Relevant in-room dining experience in a similar role within 4* or 5* hotels
  • Be motivated & a self-starter.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to work nights.
