Ensuring day to day ad trafficking operations run smoothly, promoting best practice, maximising revenue opportunities and providing comprehensive and timely reporting back to the business.

Ad Trafficking :

  • Manage the trafficking of ads across predominantly the Money Marketing and Mortgage Strategy brands (but also other EMAP brands as required)
  • Troubleshooting any campaign issues and provide support to resolve (including working with external clients if requested)
  • Manage the inventory across all sites, including capacity planning
  • Ensure campaigns are optimised and deliver to their intended targets
  • Reporting :

  • Elicit requirements for reports from all key stakeholders
  • Ensure reports are run and distributed to agreed schedules
  • Provide input into the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Provide analysis and insight to accompany regular reports
  • Day to day business of trafficking ads efficient, campaigns launched on time and hit targets, with few complaints from customers or colleagues
  • Key stakeholders have the information they need through the distribution of relevant and regular reports
  • Experience :

  • Prior experience of Ad Trafficking
  • Knowledge of standards, industry codes and developments in the digital arena
  • Good understanding of how ads display across all formats
  • Interpersonal Skills :

  • Evidence of success in prioritising work from multiple different stakeholders
  • Customer-orientated mindset
  • Ability to communicate and form working relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • IT, Administrative and Organisational Skills :

  • Knowledge of Google Ad Manager
  • Knowledge of HTML, Flash and JavaScript, plus web design and imaging software
  • Familiar with MOAT Analytics, TEADS and Madgex Platforms
  • Understanding of Google Ad Exchange and DV360
  • Experience of working directly with 3rd Party rich media vendors such as DoubleClick, Sizmek and Flashtalking
  • Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with MS Excel
  • Familiarity and understanding of current digital advertising offerings and products
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and to demonstrate an effective and resourceful approach to addressing issues
