Senior Account Manager
Key responsibilities include :
Supporting your Account Director and other members of the account team with marketing campaign / programme pitches, RFPs, briefings and planning workshops
Leading the day-to-day management of campaign / programme scoping and production from initial brief through to final approval and roll out.
This includes leading client calls / meetings and coordinating with all external and internal stakeholders to provide feedback and delivering actions and activities within budget
Brainstorming creative and messaging ideas
Maintaining timelines and project plans, providing regular updates to your team and to clients to manage expectations and achieve deadlines
Supporting your Account Director with the creation of reverse briefs, contact reports, budget estimates, timelines, client proposals, pitch responses and presentations
Help to build and strengthen key client relationships and trusted working relationships with agency departments from creative studio and copywriters to planners and finance anyone associated with getting the best work done
Supporting your Account Director with commercial forecasting and revenue recognition
Education / and or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree (in marketing or a related field would be ideal, but not essential)
6+ years marketing experience (either agency or client side)
Skills and Competencies :
Natural curiosity to learn and develop into an Account Director
Full of ideas and suggestions to improve and develop marketing programmes
Strong communicator verbal and written
Decisive, organised and efficient
Works in a collaborative way that promotes partnership, teamwork and trust
Great attention to detail, able to proof check and quality control
Able to listen and empathise well with client needs and your supporting team
Good business and marketing acumen
