WORKING FROM HOME : All Cinesite’s employees are currently working from home and we plan to continue working remotely until it is safe for us to return to our Soho office in central London.

We expect all applicants to have a reliable broadband connection with a bandwidth of 20Mbps or higher.

The role : in partnership with the VFX Producer & Supervision team, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of a project.

You will help strategise schedules based on quota & crew to ensure that work can be achieved within the project timeline.

By being the point of contact for the Production & Editorial team, you will liaise internally & externally with the Clients to develop strong lines of communication to cultivate a positive working environment.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee department targets to ensure that all deliveries are clear and any delays are mitigated so delivery milestones stay on track
  • Work alongside the Production & Creative teams to manage workflows through departments to support a successful delivery
  • Maintains the global schedule that aligns with Producer set targets & quota
  • Works with the Production team to split out the schedule into department tasks & weekly targets
  • Mentors the project Production team to ensure targets & schedules are in-line with delivery milestones
  • Follows Production protocols & standards across our internal scheduling tools
  • Set expectations for client management whilst maintaining delivery standards
  • Oversees the client review & sends process
  • Leads & support the management of dailies, rounds & meetings ensuring they are run in accordance with Production structures and expectations
  • Supports the render forecast process whilst managing nightly / weekend render priorities in-line with delivery requirements
  • Supports the project crew plan to ensure teams are in place to support delivery
  • SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Clear & effective communicator within peer teams alongside identifying appropriate situations for escalation
  • Proactive problem solver who always strives to identify solutions to ensure project delays are minimised
  • Confidently able to schedule across multiple departments in line with quota, resource & shot requirements
  • Can dipolimatly manage diverse & challenging situations to maintain a positive & cohesive team
  • Able to create & maintain excellent client communication
  • Team player & strong motivator alongside displaying leaderships skills to drive the project forward
  • Anticipates and communicates issues to the Producer and Supervisor
  • Advanced Excel skills alongside a proficient understanding of formulas & pivot tables
  • Self motivator that is able to use their initiative to resolve issues
  • We’d like to talk to you if you have :

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the VFX industry at Coordinator level or higher (within either Film or Episodic)
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of the VFX pipeline and terminology
  • Experience of working with VFX Production tools such as Shotgun or ftrack
