What will I be doing?
As Senior Account Manager you will deliver and manage on-site water treatment services, analysis and Legionella management.
Acting as the main contact for all sites under your accountability, you will ensure revenue growth by promoting Company products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will develop and implement sales plans and activities to generate additional customers whilst offering a high level of customer service.
Achieve annual sales targets by working with the Account Managers and senior sales personnel to establish selling strategy and tactics.
Be proactive in obtaining orders and establishing new accounts, supporting junior staff in sales activities.
Liaise as necessary with clients to schedule and ensure completion of any tower cleans, CWST cleans etc. in line with legislative and site requirements.
Monitor account profitability, consider and recommend changes as required to maximise revenue and service levels.
As required, complete routine analysis with comments on out of specification results, take appropriate action or discuss suggestions for resolution with client.
Maintain close contact with senior management regarding account activity, customer needs, prices and competitor activity.
Monitor and maintain weekly and daily work schedules to facilitate completion of all scheduled tasks detailed in the water treatment program, as per the TSA, are conducted and recorded.
Identify and prioritise work for assigned accounts.
Liaise as necessary with key stakeholders to ensure all elements of the water treatment programme are completed and recorded and that all systems are operating correctly.
Identify and find solutions to any problems that may arise through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Take all reasonable steps to ensure your own safety and that of others. Comply with all current legislation and any prevailing site rules.
Report any accidents, incidents or near misses in accordance with Company or client policies.
Produce quality reports as required by your line manager in a timely fashion.
Work to achieve K.P.I’s and targets set and agreed with your line manager.
On site stock control and ensuring any products required are ordered with the correct lead time and process with the Procurement and Logistics Manager.
Do I have what it takes?
Educational / Experience Requirements;
Preferably educated to degree level in a relevant Science / Chemistry discipline or equivalent.
Demonstrable chemical knowledge and relevant qualifications.
Demonstrable knowledge of water treatment programmes and associated equipment.
Thorough knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.

A full driving licence is required for this role.
