Job description

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, ambitious and hard-working individual to join the Product Specialist function within the Quality team in London.

The individual will work with the other Quality Product Specialists to act as the front-line representative for the Quality team’s strategies (ex-

South Africa), working closely with global Client Groups (both institutional and advisory) and Marketing, but also other areas of the business such as Product, Operations and Risk & Performance.

Specific areas of responsibility will include the following :

  • Working with Client Group and Marketing to ensure effective messaging and competitive positioning of Quality strategies (ex-
  • SA), including latest thinking, insights, portfolio positioning, performance and attribution

  • Working with the Quality team, Client Group and Marketing to ensure the quality, consistency, accuracy and timely delivery of ex-
  • SA Quality strategy marketing materials, including presentations, RFP responses, commentaries and other collateral

  • Coordinating, creating and contributing to Quality team viewpoints and papers
  • Acting as gatekeeper for Quality team time requests for ex-SA sales / client activity, ensuring appropriate and efficient use of team resources
  • Directly engaging with clients on ex-SA Quality pitches and report backs (this will evolve over time, dependent on presentation skills and experience)
  • Assisting with product strategy / development and management as it relates to ex-SA Quality strategies
  • Person specification

    Technical & industry experience :

  • Ideally at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Very strong Excel, PowerPoint and writing skills
  • Willingness to work towards CFA if not already achieved
  • Understanding and knowledge of Investec Asset Management highly desirable
  • Degree educated or equivalent
