This office is focused on helping to ensure we deliver maximum valuefrom our strategy. We need results-focused high-performance talent to join thiseffort.
Using an innovate internal Private Equity model to programmefunding and delivery the Senior Strategic Portfolio Coordinate will drive theoverall governance, funding rhythm and reporting processes across the entireglobal strategic portfolio.
This role will report to the Director of Strategic Programmes Office.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Ensuring the Strategic Programme Office has a single, globalview of the truth across all Abcam’s strategic portfolio. This includes projectstatus, funding positions, execution risks, talent maps.
Owning, and bethe superuser of, the global tool (Abcam Results Accelerator) that collatescurrent status of all programmes within the portfolio.
Working withvarious PMO and project managers across the business to identify and escalateissues and risks emerging across the portfolio.
CoordinateAbcam’s internal private equity funding model to ensure that programmes aredriven forward with pace and results focus.
Build andmaintain a register of execution bottlenecks / roadblocks across the business.
Educate andtrain the business on Strategic Programme Officeprocesses
Supportsinnovation / idea generation in functions to ensure a pipeline of ongoingprojects and pending ideas to align with short-
and long-term targets.
Drive therhythm of the Strategic Programmes Office process and reporting.
Provideguidance and support to project stakeholders in the completion of ProjectPlans, and other project documents to a standard suitable for the SPO to makeinvestment decisions.
Proactivelychase for updates on the current status of individual projects and ensure theAbcam Results Accelerator is a single source of truth.
Monitor therealisation of benefits and the ROI of SPO investments during and followingeach programme
About you :
Experiencebuilding and operating within a transformation office / results delivery officeor similar
Bachelor’sdegree from an accredited institution; advanced master’s degree preferably inbusiness or related field
Demonstratedprogramme management experience
Outstandingplanning and organisation skills with attention to detail and a proven trackrecord of managing a high volume of information correctly.
Highlynumerate and with excellent standards of written and verbal communication.
Strongteam-working skills and an ability to build effective relationships withstakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
Ability toproduce and present complex information as understandable reports relevant tothe various audiences.
