An exciting, new opportunity has arisen to join our Procurement team as a IT Category Manager. This role will sit within Business Services which is our foundation and provides a centralised and shared services function that fully supports our Residential and Commercial businesses with all their operational needs.

Based at our Baker Street Headquarters, Business Services helps guide and align the wider firm in their strategies, processes and procedures ensures that Knight Frank operating in the most efficient and compliant way for both clients and employees.

In this IT Category Manager role you will be responsible for :

  • Optimising the cost-effectiveness of negotiations and ensure compliance of negotiated agreements to established supplier management policies and practices (such as articulation of service levels and deliverables, etc.
  • Managing the maintenance / enhancement of tools for use in supplier management, including supplier tracking, analytics and performance management tools.

    Serving as the leadership-level point of contact between the suppliers and internal stakeholders consuming supplier services and solutions.

    Managing the collection, consolidation and communication of reporting and data on supplier contracts, performance, risk and relationships to key stakeholders and suppliers.

    Management and tracking of software / hardware assets and consumption of cloud-based entitlements. Overseeing maintenance of supplier agreements and, where applicable, in cooperation with procurement, legal, compliance and stakeholders, ensure that they are current / up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

    Maintaining an inventory of supplier spend in collaboration with other areas, such as finance and procurement by category (software, hardware, telecom, services), cost centre and region.

    Serving as a point of escalation for supplier issues and disputes and drive those issues to resolution.

    We are looking for an experienced IT Category Manager to join the Procurement team. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar supplier management role and will have a proven track record in IT procurment and the products and services provided by technology suppliers.

    You will ideally have a professional qualification like CIPS, CPSM, CTPE or SFIA and have a proven experience in the successful management of suppliers / third parties, including, but not limited to, policies, performance, supplier risk, relationships, contracts (including negotiations), and issue and dispute resolution.
