About the role :
We have vacancies for an Occupational Therapist in both our Spalding and Grantham team but flexibility in location will be required as travel between areas will be required to provide cross cover.
The successful candidates will establish therapeutic relationships with service users so that a thorough understanding of the impact and long term consequences of a disability can be understood.
This may involve collaboration and consultation with colleagues in health and other agencies. As an Occupational Therapist you will identify and assess needs holistically involving service users and carers to be able to organise care packages which promote independence and rehabilitation.
About you :
You must hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and continual Professional Development is a requirement via registration with the HCPC.
You will be required to continuously prioritise workload ensuring a quick turnover of cases to meet high demand therefore a good level of communication skills, both written and verbal, and IT skills are essential.
If you have the ability to assess needs, prepare care plans and can implement accordingly with a working knowledge of current legislation then this would be a great opportunity.
In return we offer a supportive environment for both personal and professional development; regular supervision, appraisal, clinical support and access to training and development opportunities are assured.
If you can demonstrate good performance and high productivity then we would love to hear from you.
